I'm a Web Developer who's always looking to learn more and improve in her field. I'm hard-working, goal-oriented, and well-organized; I work well in groups, and I'm great with completing projects before the deadline. I have great time management skills and can multitask through different projects.

Projects

Pet Store & Animal Shelter

Kable Academy

My pet store needed a ton of content, but it also called for creativity as far as writing the paragraphs, naming the animals, and the layout of the project. I enjoyed this because I used sonmething close to my heart as the subject matter. The most challenging part of this project was attempting to build a shopping cart, and I'm still reading documentation and working on it. However,I was extremely proud once I saw everything put together; it was definitely an experience I'll never forget.

JavaScript - Type Ahead

Kable Academy

This project made me understand Javascript better; I was able to create a webpage that responds quite well, and I was able to add my own personal style to the page as well. I had fun creating JavaScript in this project; it helped me be able to write it more efficiently.

React Fun Facts

Kable Academy

I enjoyed doing this project, specifically for the subject matter; I used one of my favorite animes, Attack on Titan, my main focus for the theme. Then, I picked what I thought were the coolest facts about the show. Completing this project was especially special for me since I was able to teach myself new things outside of class.

Drum Kit Challenge

Kable Academy

This project was fun to do; I really got to put my own spin on this one. I got creative, and did a Doctor Who theme as my soundboard, and then I used a trolling sound for the last button. Also, I changed my background image to a GIF of the Doctor's travel machine materializing; the ship is called the TARDIS- Time And Relative Dimensons In Space.

Bootstrap Button Grid Challenge

Kable Academy

My button grid was one of the coolest challenges I had done so far in web development. I really enjoyed experimenting with bootstrap, which helped me learn the topics being discussed in class even better, but also helped me find new discoveries. It challenged what I knew about styling, and also helped me learn new techniques for different elements and class names.

Product Landing Page

Kable Academy

This project is special for me; I took something that was close to my heart, and I created a webpage about a specific product. The product I chose was a weighted blanket, which I liked to call "Comfort Blanket", and I made the webpage all about self-care and how to use coping skills along with the blanket to create a calming atmosphere.

MadLibs

Kable Academy

The MadLibs project was fun and simple; in this project, I had to find a MadLibs story, and style the webpage to make it personal to me. The story I picked was not only funny, but somewhat relatable to the reader. I was able to re-create a MadLibs story, and my childhood (I grew up doing MadLibs).

About Me Page

Kable Academy

The About Me page was my favorite project; I created three different webpages about my personal life, job history, and education history. I styled these pages, and then I linked them to each other (links are posted at the top of each page). This was the first coding project I've ever done, and I really enjoyed working on it.

Interests

I'm a simple girl that enjoys the little things in life; I enjoy board and card games, video games, reading, and journaling. Taking walks and listening to music are also things I like to do in my free time. I love to nature-watch as well; I always appreciate a peaceful and serene place to think.

My secular background started in customer service; I worked in this field for at least eleven years of my life. I eventually began to look for what I was actually interested in, and I found web development.
